Processing, Javascript
I began working with visual code in a project for a course on experimental animation in my first year at NID. The idea was to create an animation that was soundless, but explored form and movement. Mine was coded entirely in Processing and I chose the equilateral triangle as my basic form. The triangles follow a rhythm: a line of nattuvangam in bharathnatyam.
I've been intrigued by self-similarity in algorithms for a while, and when searching for a way of representing such a concept in my experimental animation, I came across the work of Daniel Shiffman on YouTube. Guided by his books and videos, I coded fractals and L-systems in a few different ways and experimented with form within them. This is an ongoing series, all coded in Processing or P5 JS.
